In this regard, hot water can be added to the engine cooling system for preheating, which is an effective way to improve startup performance.
The specific approach as below:
Continuously heat the water (let the water flow out of the cylinder) and gradually increase the water temperature into the small diesel generator set for preheating. When the temperature of the flowing water is high, the water discharge switch is closed. In addition, the oil pan can be heated by an open flame such as a blowtorch to improve the flow performance of the oil to reduce the movement resistance of the machine, and also to ensure sufficient capacity and good battery. The performance, which also helps improve the starting performance of the diesel engine.
Improve the sealing performance of the cylinder:
One of the differences between a diesel engine and a gasoline engine is the compression ignition type, so the cylinder is required to have a high sealing performance. When the engine is cold-started in winter, there is little oil on the piston ring and the cylinder wall, and the sealing effect is not good, and there is a phenomenon that it is repeatedly started and cannot be ignited. Sometimes due to the heavy cylinder wear, the sealing performance of the cylinder is seriously affected, making starting more difficult. In this regard, the injector can be removed, and 30-40 ml of oil is added to each cylinder to enhance the sealing performance of the cylinder and increase the pressure during compression.
Loosen the bleed screw on the high pressure oil pump and pump the oil by hand to drain the air in the low pressure oil circuit; then, drain the air in the high pressure oil circuit. The specific method is: loosen the oil pipe joints on the fuel injectors, so that the throttle valve is at the maximum oil supply position, and rotate the crankshaft until the oil injectors of the fuel injectors of each cylinder are in a short supply.
